7th Day Ramadhan – Stricken By The Flu Bug

Level 2 Day 1

Maximum rounds in 20 min = 20 sets

1 pull-ups
3 push-ups
4 squats

Supplementary Exercises:

Crunches: 15 X 3

Back Extensions: 15 X 3

Notes:

And when it rains, it pours.

The symptoms started last Friday afternoon and it escalated through the night. I started having running nose, sore throat and felt feverish. The two pills of chlorphenamine didn’t have the desired effect and my condition worsened throughout the weekend as I was confined to my bed as my temperature rose. I blew my nose countless times that it became sore and red like Rudolph’s.

Aiyoyo.

Finally, those signs start to abate today thus I was able to continue with my strength training program and boy Level 2 was damn tough! But I am happy enough with the 20 sets I managed to complete in 20 minutes.

Oh yah, I ate fried macaroni and murtabak for breakfast, maybe that was what fueled my workout. 😛

Cycling tomorrow morning insya-Allah.

Adios!

🙂

    Wow you’re fast.

    Ah now I understand.

Insya-Allah I’ll continue to comment in your blog as I get to know more of your artistic endeavours.

Btw I hope your daughters are recovering and hopefully you can beat the bug.

As of now my mum is down with it too.

sasha also bakes pretty stuff. I love her blog and she has a lot of fans (saja2 promote sasha).

Mech: Go see the doctor. I thought I can skip the doc visit but after 4 days, i still got the bug and I have to force myself to see the doc and walah! no more flu the next day.

Take care, weather at night is good for sleeping and certainly not meant for running. 🙂

Wow Sasha is like Singapore’s Martha Stewart. Is that the correct comparison? 🙂

I’m on the mend already Kash.

Anyway how about this, I don’t like to see a doctor though I can get to cut queue and receive free treatment and medication at the local polyclinics.

    Can’t stand the hassle.

    😛
