Tuesday Run: Maiden Night Run

Had my maiden night run since the only time I’m free nowadays is at night.

Started the first running session by following this program.

It was breezy and made the run more comfortable.

Though my right shin threatened to cramp up, a slower pace prevented it from happening and managed to increase the speed near the end of the run.

Apart from the cooler weather, I still need to adapt to running at night as the path is interspersed with street light and some parts are totally dark.

Due to my bad knee condition, the dark areas made me more apprehensive as I needed to make sure that I did not step on anything as this would surely make my knees to give way.

The cyclists using the same path without any headlight, trailight or blinkers are another hazard to keep a look-out for.

Oh well…

p/s: Anybody wants to join me in doing the 10.5km Sundown Marathon? 😛
